This section offers a step-by-step guide on how to use Better Goals.
Setup your first iteration
To Setup your first iteration open Better Goals 🎯 from your board.
Click on Add an other goal.
You can add up to 500 characters as goals!
Please make sure you are adding measurable goals, keep it short, simple, consize and use language everybody in your team understands! Read more here how to setup measurable and meaningful goals:
You can add an Emoji to your goals by pressing on Windows (Windows logo key + . (period) ) or on MacOS ( CONTROL + COMMAND + SPACE )
or Click on our Emoji Dropdown at the end of the Edit Field, search for the desired emoji youwyou
You can add up to 3 goals maximum per iteration!
Edit your goals!
Edit and set your Iteration Length
You need to select the length of your iteration
You can choose from 1 week up until 4 weeks.
Edit and set your Start Date
You need to define the start date for your iteration.
You can do it by clicking on the todays date, and select a future date when your iteration starts!
When you configured everything just hit READY TO START and your journey begins!
Edit your goals for a running iteration.
To edit your currently running iteration to change a value in your goal or slightly modify it:
You need to click on EDIT GOALS in the Iteration view
After that you can change your Goals, Start Date, and Iteration Length!
Access your previous goals from History.
Click on EDIT GOALS
Click on the HISTORY tab in the header
Here you can access all previous goals.
You can copy and paste any goals you would like to share with your team!
How to finish your goals:
When you finished any of your goals, just click on the Checkbox for the achieved goal!
What happens when you finished with all your goals:
When you have finished all your goals, just click on Start New Iteration CTA
How to start the next iteration:
When the time expired or you finished all your goals you will have a “Start a new iteration” CTA to get to the new iteration start view:
