How to install?
Just navigate to the Marketplace page for Who Viewed This Issue.
Install the application on your Jira instance
Approve the permission screen
It will automatically install to your instance
How to configure it?
After installation the app will be enabled automatically
No additional configuration required
Key features and functionality
Accessible and ease of reach: Open the app from any Jira issue/ticket.
Just select Who Viewed This Issue from the bottom activity panel or from the right panel in the issue details screen.Real-time Tracking: See active users online in real-time.
Last View Timestamp: Review when the issue was last viewed for visibility updates.
Active User Identification: Easily identify who is actively engaging with your Jira tickets.
Seamless Integration: Effortlessly integrates with Jira for streamlined workflow management.
Enhanced Collaboration: Facilitates efficient collaboration by providing insights into ticket engagement!

How to active the application?
Navigate to any Jira issue or ticket
Scroll down to the bottom of the issue until you reach the Activity section
Click on Who Viewed This Issue? panel

An other option would be to navigate and check on the right side panel
Scroll down until you find the Who Viewed This Issue section below the Details fields
Click on this panel

In the dropdown you will be able to inspect all the viewers.
If you wished to close these panels just either navigate away, refresh the page or click on the panel navigation item
How does the application work?
The app does NOT collect retroactive data
The app starts to collect view statistics AFTER installation.
When any users visits any Jira issue, they will be able to see the View History. Same way users can see the Comment history and Activity.
The Watching Now feature will update the other users within 5 seconds.
The Last viewed section will order the users by last visited date
We display the dates in two formats.
Display method is by the minutes and hours if it is within 24 hours
After 24 hours passed, we display it in the local browser timezone with month,day, year, hours:minutes format
The application does not send or store data outside of the Atlassian instance.

Q: Does your product support Data Center or Server instances?
A: No, we do not support it. Only Jira Cloud instance is supported
Q: Does your product support per project based configuration?
A: This is planned! Please send a support email to us with your detailed requirements
Q: Does your product support retroactive view history?
A: The app only supports view history collection after installation. Currently this is not supported natively by Atlassian.
Q: Does your app store and send out any data from the Atlassian instance?
A: No, we do not send out any data from your Atlassian instance, everything is stored securely with the amazing Forge technology provided by Atlassian.
